Dr. Tom Pousti attended undergrad at UCSD, where he graduated first in his class, magna cum laude. He received his M.D. degree at the University of California Irvine. At U.C. Irvine College of Medicine, Dr. Pousti was awarded the Alpha Omega Alpha Society Scholarship Award, which required him to be in the top 5% of his medical class. In 1990, he was awarded the Excellence in Surgery Award, and in 1994, he received the “Resident of the Year” Teaching Award. After five years of General Surgery Residency at UC Irvine Medical Center, Dr. Tom Pousti did a two year Plastic Surgery Fellowship at Harvard in Boston, Mass.
